      Pros

      Hourly workforce is great. Good Insurance.

      Cons

      From day 1 I was looking over my shoulder. If you challenge the existing leadership to make changes it falls on deaf ears. By doing this if you make wrong person mad they will fire you. Very political company . Relocated to Simmons and in 5 minutes they released me with no opportunity to defend myself. Been in manufacturing over 20 years successfully and have never seen anything like the way they perform business.

      Hated life while working here

      Pros

      Loved the people who worked for me. They were all very friendly and very hard working. Enjoyed a lot of the other production supervisors.

      Cons

      Everyone was overworked and underpaid. I felt like I Was a slave worker at times. The company claims to be a Christain company but is not caring of people's lives outside of work. People are continually threatened with losing their jobs whenever anything happen and there is no type of positive management base, everything is very negative and punishment driven rather than positive and reward driven. Very unethical upper management.

      Pros

      Good pay, they make it sound like a great place to work.

      Cons

      Unless you are a part of the "good ole boy" system you're not safe. They sound very compelling about their core values and "One Simmons" but they only mean it when it's convenient for them. I hope Todd Simmons is so far removed from what is happening in his company and that he is not condoning the actions of his Sr Leadership teams.
