Micromanagement and Stressful Environment

Pros

Your coworkers will be the best part of the job but that’s all

Cons

Management is very micromanagey. They preach unlimited PTO but you get scolded for taking more than 4 weeks. The customers are difficult and rude. The pay is very very very low compared to the amount of work we have to do. Everyone on the CS team is overworked, stressed and strained. There’s no room for growth and very little support so burn out is real.

Pros

SimplePractice is made up of great people who really care about our customers. I've been with the company for a year and it's clear to me that leadership cares about our feedback and feel accountable to creating positive and incremental change.

Cons

For most salaried roles, this is not a place where you can work 7-8 hours and call it a day. People work 9-10 hours and are available on nights and Sundays to respond, review, and catch up, especially in leadership roles.
