Pros
The office has a casual atmosphere.
Cons
In the past employees have called SixSpeed the McDonalds of marketing, but honestly I think McDonalds may pay their young employees better. SixSpeed’s path to profitability is based on hiring young kids with little experience and working them 70+ hours a week. All while asking them to “do what others won’t” and then coercing them to mask their exhaustion in booze. It’s an absolute abuse of power from the employer. The company’s only goal is to earn revenue and you’ll see that show up in how creative is scoped, made, and delivered. If clients knew how little true research, experience, or care informs the work they would bolt. But they won’t because they get a photo to put on an Instagram feed for a low price. It’s a toxic and chaotic work environment.
