      Pros

      A lot of talent, a lot of good staff at the worker level. Very friendly, hard working engineers. Think they robbed Mcorp's...

      Cons

      "Startup" means the engine turns over at some point. Skorpios has been "starting" for over 5 years. The problem is with management and top heavy org. Never seen so many VP's in a company before. CEO has anger management issues and behaves like a spoiled child when he doesn't get his way. If you're desperate, go ahead. Otherwise.... Just don't. You'll thank me later.

      Pros

      Challenging work; very intelligent coworkers, majority of engineers are Ph.D. Level; you gain hands on experience; long hours but it often doesn't feel like "work"; and good pay and benefits. Why so many negative reviews? If you're not happy or feel unappreciated, then you should consider working elsewhere and avoid start up companies. The nature of a start up is intense, more so in this industry. If you came here for work and life balance, or only for money and stock, then you came for the wrong reasons. We should be here because we want to do challenging work, the money and balance will show up in due time.

      Not everyone is committed to the hard and intense work required; a lot of secrecy around projects; overly aggressive deadlines and goals.

      NO LOYALTY to employees, very bad employee morale due to inept CEO and HR hiring practices are a sham. CEO micromanages every aspect of company, including hiring of personnel,
