Pros

Skydance Animation: Some solid people that work here if you are lucky enough to land in the right place. You can get hired to do that next rung on the ladder here, that you would be too inexperienced for anywhere else.

Cons

Skydance Animation: Hiring across every department to end to be very green and under-experienced for their role, which is not a bad thing if the studio had any support infrastructure which they do not so you are on your own to drown. This inexperience is part of what feeds a pervasive culture of burning out crew (lack of planning and overall knowledge of how to successfully run projects) so that they take leave of absences or quit; studio leadership allows it to continue. Leadership is abusive with no repercussions. Some of the most toxic, ineffective leadership I have ever seen assembled in one place. Projects are bloated and mismanaged. Overall lack of respect for people is part of the culture. Cronyism is alive and well here so no diversity at the top. David Ellison has no clue what a dumpster fire he has on his hands.
