Pros

Love the office, the environment in it and the colleagues are amazing and very friendly. They don’t force to stay on a project you don’t want for too long.

Cons

Management is not great, impossible to progress career if you don’t play politics, it’s all based on who you know and not on your skills. They assign you to do any kind of job, it doesn’t matter what is your experience as they have a thin pipeline and they need to make money, otherwise you spend lots of time on the bench.

Sorry to hear your experience was below what we intend. Given we’ve been so busy across all parts of our business for the past 18 months, and growing rapidly to meet such high demand, I would have hoped you could have benefitted from the size and variety in the pipeline of work.

Smart people amidst a toxic culture

Pros

- clever consultants - free drinks and food - freedom to try new ideas and solutions - great business model of top consultants working at top clients locally

Cons

- unrealistic expectations of everyone selling services - toxic culture of back stabbing, gossiping, misleading all while smiling at you. - inconsistent and erratic leadership that supports the toxic culture - culture and values are on the wall but not engrained in how people are really treated

Pros

- A nice, well-located office with friendly building staff - Salary for an associate is very reasonable

Cons

I have taken a year to right this review to ensure it is still true 12 months on: - No support or real opportunities for growth if you are starting out your career. I was left alone on my very first project, it didn't go too well, and my confidence was knocked from that point on. There was also 0 work in the area me and ~10 others were hired for. As a result, my skills never developed, and it was wasted time. - Like most private sector companies, all the culture and values go out the window when the going gets tough. - Lack of honesty (regarding redundancies and promotions) and Westminster-style messaging from managers who were out of their depth in terms of their ability to communicate things like real human beings should - Odd drinking culture with inappropriate instances that were swept under the rug -
