Variety of clients to potentially be engaged with Roles can also vary from project to project As consultants, you can provide guidance to your managers as to your career path and/or interests Lots of Company hosted functions that are always optional (e.g. Happy Hour Events, Quarterly Meetings, Company-wide funded weekend retreat to wonderful/local destinations, Holiday Parties, etc...on and on...)

Cons

It's important to be part of a team and/or have people know about your skillsets. If you're relatively new and somewhat shy, it can be hard to be recognized. You must take it upon yourself to go out and contribute to your personal/professional growth and network, network, network...

Poor / lack of management, less than average benifits & PTO, left out of company events and rewards, short staffing basic services means more work for everyone.
