      Local Consulting

      Pros

      1.) Consulting at a local level - you do not have to travel to live the life of a consultant 2.) Great people - from my fellow consultants all the way to the CEO, everyone is very approachable, intelligent, and willing to help. 3.) Work life balance is awesome. It's the first company I've worked for that doesn't just preach it.

      Cons

      1.) "Your future" is discussed, and a path can be forged... but then 3 months later the whole org structure has changed, 2.) Pay is under market, but full salary while on "the bench" 3.) 401k match is really low, health insurance is decent.

      Client work is not as good locally when compared to global or national projects
