Pros

Work was challenging and interesting with plenty to do. The work environment was professional but what I liked best was that my input was always asked for an valued - a lot of times I felt like my own boss. I also liked the way priorities and work flow was organized and assigned online versus having to waste time meeting with a supervisor. Another pro was that we were growing and constantly buying new websites which made working there rewarding and leaving me wish I had more time in a day. I also liked that we were all involved in the big picture versus doing a single project or task and not really knowing where it all fit or meant. I also liked that they respected my personal life even though there were plenty of times where we had to deal with server or network issues after hours. It was also a positive that the owners were completely involved, knew the business and worked directly with all employees regardless of job level. Great office too!

Cons

The two things I can think of were: 1 - Medium sized business vs. large company - If you like a fast paced environment where you are in charge of a lot and you don't have layers of management then this is a great place to work. If you prefer a company with hundreds of people, a new boss every 6 months, a very narrow and defined set of job responsibilities and when you leave work every day nobody knows you left, then this is not for you. 2 - If you like a company in the Internet space that is growing and work is fast paced then Bizx is a good place. If you don't like interacting with other people or would rather work where projects move slower or are very intricate and longer term, then this is not your place.

Pros

Challenging and engaging work environment Fast paced,, but not stressful Flexible work schedule,, company stresses lifestyle business Entry and mid-level staff exposed to much more responsibility than many companies. Very smart people with great skills. It is a great place to learn and get promoted or leverage into a new position.

Cons

Management is demanding, but they taught me so much I was able to get a killer job so it was worth it.

Pros

The building owner designed the office they rent to look cool, "Some" Coworkers were nice. Were really good about OT hours Close to cool shops

Cons

Coworkers are all paranoid of losing their job. Therefore the priority of all work and interaction is justifying your existence rather than actually finishing a job. Mid level management openly avoids any challenging project opting to "grab any low hanging fruit" to impress bosses with. High turnover. The veterans were there for 8-9 mos. The bosses are RARELY ever there. yet will cuss and scream at the drop of a hat when requirements (never communicated) were not met. Any professional working there is highly ashamed of his work. Mid level mangers constantly grumble about blackhat coding "standards". Backbiting, infighting, and accusations abound.
