Pros

Some really solid co-workers and occasionally a good culture. Life-work balance isn't too bad. Benefits are pretty good, and the company appears to be pretty transparent with their finances.

Cons

Inexperienced management (lots of falling uphill during the last merger). Extremely top heavy company structure (more management than employees in some departments). Very little availability in career paths, and below industry pay. Things are increasingly becoming more bureaucratic and unorganized. Several teams constantly don't hit goals or timelines, and nobody seems to actually care. Also, stop exploiting employees that have more than one "job" at Smarsh. This place is famous for adding on extra work outside of the JD without compensation.

Pros

-innovative use of technology -passionate and knowledgeable teams I will never forget -mostly stable work and life balances

Cons

-downsizing without clear reasons why, replacing employees with outsourcing experiments -leadership is in a tough position and share the difficulty with all staff freely but not in a clear way how employees can help -CEO attacks working from home without burdening her employees with an explanation - while expressing why laying off employees as a cost savings was the "right move" we then purchasing office space to bolster a go to office effort
