A Great Place to Work, but with Stagnant Pay

Pros

SDS is genuinely a good company that treats its employees with a lot of fairness and respect. The biggest thing I like about it is the continuous training they give us. They also have a generous PTO policy. Lastly the fact that the company allows us to work remotely makes a really huge difference in our lives. It shows the management values results over face time.

Cons

No salary increase since the start. The bonuses based on performance are also negligible.

Pros

Ability to work from home. Some coworkers were very helpful and kind.

Cons

Everything else. Extremely low pay ($12/hour), minimal training, not as flexible as I needed. Hard workers never got recognized and you could tell they were under a lot of pressure yet if you were in the office, you were part of the “pack”-lots of favoritism. If you need a job to survive or feed yourself, this isn’t the one for you. I ended up making more from DoorDash.

Pros

One of the biggest pros is the work-life balance. Working from home makes a huge difference and allows me to manage my time better without the stress of commuting. It's comfortable, flexible, and ideal if you enjoy focused, independent work.

Cons

The only downside is working the night shift. I sometimes feel a bit left out since most activities happens during the day, but the company tries their best to include night-shift employees and makes us feel valued.
