Pros

Did Obama's policies cause this?

Cons

Integrity is one of your core values but you lied to the employees when you told them they would be trained to take care of the new solutions when you brought in consultants to implement new software and then terminated employment for 73 individuals with families so that your stock value would go up. It tanked. What a disgrace! I hope you all enjoy working with India and Mexico.

Pros

If you are a black shirt "(manager)" you can get pay very good.

Cons

They play with your schedule alot. They send you to another store for a training but they dont teach you what you really need to know about the company, they dont ask you if you can or if you want to go help another store they just send you like that. Store managers do not know how to talk to an employee they even insult you .

Pros

If they see you working hard and actually trying, they will give you more hours as opposed to someone who isn't really doing their job.

Cons

This job is only easy when you're a service clerk and they're paying you $9.00. After a month, they raise you to $9.10 an hour to be a service clerk/cashier/in charge of the freezer department and bakery department. That is completely not worth it. If you work an 8 hour shift and one of your supervisors isn't done with THIER job, they'll ask you if you can stay an hour more to help them with their job(doing pull downs or working a pallet), after the supervisors wasted 2 hours of their shift just talking to customers/other workers/or were on their phones with their friends. If you tell them you can't stay and help them with THEIR job, they put you aside and try to belittle you the next time you show up to work. After the raise you get after a month, you won't get another raise until you work 1,000 hours, no matter what department you're working in, no matter how hard you're working, no matter how good you're doing your job as opposed to your supervisors, and the raise will only be around 15 cents. From personal experience: If you're a hard worker and management sees it, this particular manager D.C., will not offer you a raise EVEN if you're supposed to get one according to their policy, IF YOU DO NOT ASK FOR ONE. If you ask for one he will deny it and tell you that policy says you cannot get a raise if you have not done your 1,000 hours and that theres absolutely nothing he can do about it. If you threaten the manager with a 2 week notice/leave however, and he knows you're an important asset to the store management, he will tell you he will talk to his own boss personally to see what he can do to get you a raise to possibly make you stay(AFTER RECENTLY TELLING YOU THERES NOTHING HE CAN DO ABOUT IT). He'll extend his boss' response time to make you stay even longer as you anticipate the possible raise you might get only to get disappointed with a 20-30 cent raise when you know you deserver more than triple that.
