      As a data oriented person at SmartAsset, you will find immense opportunities to grow your skills both technically and operationally. Working remotely can be challenging at times, but I've found more collaboration across multiple teams here than any other remote job I've worked.

      Cons

      At times it is a very fast paced, ever evolving environment. Teams can have to wear 'many hats'.

      Great company to work!

      Pros

      They have a strong compensation if you hit your number and a genuinely positive work culture. The people are great to collaborate with, creating a supportive and enjoyable team environment. Upper management actively listens to feedback and makes a real effort to implement improvements based on employee input. On top of that, most of the managers foster a relaxed, non micromanaging atmosphere that allows employees to work independently. When I started at the company, I had no knowledge of the finance industry, but the training program equipped me with everything I needed to succeed. Now, I’m able to confidently speak with financial advisors and truly understand their language, which has been a huge part of my growth and success in the role.

      Cons

      Success doesn’t happen overnight, you have to put in consistent effort to build a strong pipeline and be patient as results take time to develop. The role requires a high level of activity, including a minimum of 80 dials a day. That said, for those who stay committed, work hard, and stick it out, the effort can pay off in a big way. I’m grateful every day that I pushed through the most challenging periods of my career here. The payoff has been more than worth it.

      SmartAsset truly cares about the development of their managers, as well as sales team across the board. The team is well run from the top and is extremely transparent on goals, metrics and results as it relates to promotions or career development! Fun group of people to work with and a product that truly brings value to advisors that utilize it the right way
