Pros

In my time at Smartsheet, I have been able to learn use a wide range of new technology. Not only was I able to try working with new things that I was completely unfamiliar with, but I was given the time and resources to master each new skill. While at Smartsheet, I have had the opportunity to evaluate my career options, and choose what direction I want to go. I've been able to set my own goals, and had the support to help me reach them. Smartsheet invests in its employees, and hard work gets noticed.

Cons

The company is growing very quickly, which has caused some growing pains. Not all changes happen quickly.

Pros

Smartsheet was a great place to work. I felt I had a lot of autonomy in my job and wasn't constantly being micro-managed. My manager was incredibly supportive and allowed me to do my work. In hindsight the benefits they offer are a lot better than most companies. There is plenty of opportunity to advance and change teams. The transparency within the company was a huge plus. Smartsheet is very good about keeping employees informed about all aspects of the business. One of the coolest things about the company is that you can have a meeting with anyone without feeling intrusive or out of place. The executives are incredibly accessible, especially Mark (CEO). He loves hearing feedback from anyone, and encourages for you to act upon it. You'll quickly find that most of the employees are very smart (good job HR) , which can be a considered a con if you like to be the shining star of your group projects. The office itself was fantastic, I loved working in Bellevue and the space was incredibly nice. The kitchen is really nice and the place is well stocked with candy.

Cons

I don't have a lot of bad things to say about the company. I left because it just wasn't the industry for me. At the time I was working there my team wasn't as large some of the others so we had to have a larger less defined roll. The commute into downtown Bellevue can be nightmarish and add some time to your commute. Also the floor can get loud at times but personal space wasn't an issue.

Pros

Great benefits, unlimited sick leave, fantastic culture amongst the company.

Cons

I feel like I haven't been challenged enough in my roll here. I know I can contribute more, but I don't feel like my team is open to sharing what they're working on, or bridging me in so I can help with projects.
