Pros

The pay was decent at the time.

Cons

I honestly cant say enough negative things to make any difference. I was always the squeaky wheel with every ethical quandary that came up and sadly management was 100% unreceptive and i made the mistake of objecting to unethical practices and decisions. Ultimately they made it clear that my presence was no longer welcome, so I left. This company embodies every negative aspect of the insurance industry that your wildest dreams can imagine, and then some. Turnover is constant and the avg tenure was less than 6 months. We were working mandatory overtime with countless metrics that were next to impossible to fulfill without compromising your integrity. It is my opinion that this was their goal, to force you into making the decision to act unethically in order to protect your job. And once you did, they had complete control over you and they new they could do anything they like to you and your only choice is to quit. Management and new hires are encouraged to write positive things on multiple platforms. The concept of indemnification is a complex one but the ethics are pretty straightforward. Do yourself and your career a favor and steer clear. Don't say we didn't tell you.

Pros

-Opportunity to work from home -Decent pay/benefits -The experience working with a startup may be a pro

Cons

-Long interview process. You will spend a lot of your time doing multiple phone interviews, zoom interviews, and taking estimator tests as well. -Company is not economically resistant to a recession or pandemic. Ironically, majority of estimators that worked from home were laid off due to the pandemic. -Company struggles to profit due to poor money management. Therefore, they require employees to produce unrealistic numbers and do a lot of overtime for the company to breakeven; you will be doing the work of 2 to 3 people. -Investor funding is what keeps the company afloat. -Call center staff is more micro managed, but that is because prior customer service staff constantly abused the system. -High turnover rate with call center staff, estimators and managers. -Don't expect to take a lunch as you're expected to pump 40+ estimates per day. (The numbers are doable if you don't take a lunch/breaks and if you request small collision claims to be funneled into your queue). -Policy holders and body shops see our estimates as a joke plain & simple. Quantity over quality at this place

Pros

The company seems like a great place to be. The benefits are great and you can enroll fairly quickly. While in training, numerous emails were sent internally seeking applicants. Because of this the company seemed to be focused on promoting from within first before seeking outside candidates.

Cons

Regrettably, while in training I realized that I would not be a good fit for the role and because of it, i resigned. The role seems like it would be stressful due to high expectations and The expected outcome. And I know that in would be overwhelmed
