Pros

- Decent benefits and pay. - People try their best despite the state of things, so no back-stabbing... yet.

Cons

The new exec team wants to achieve positive cash flow and is willing to sacrifice anything that is not visible on the balance sheet to make this happen. Look up the old blog post titled “The Rocket Behind Snowflake’s Rocket Ship” - all of those ideas have been thrown out the window: - Alignment across all functions? No one has time for that. As a result, sales teams will promise things that do not exist, and eng teams may have no choice but to ship half-finished features. - Quality over deadlines? Quality as a concept no longer exists, see the outage on 12/19/2025 (breaking change on Friday before holiday break? lol...). Deadlines have become a tool to push people into working 60 hours a week. - Bottom-up decision-making or taking initiative? Most decisions are now made by management, as experienced tech leads have already left. Everyone else is pigeonholed into a specific role. - Growing people and career progression? Too expensive, forget about it. And despite all of that the overall growth is slowing down anyway. Join at your own risk.

Psychologically unsafe with no values beyond money

Pros

- Good pay - Solid benefits - Company is doing well (because employees are worked to the bone)

Cons

- Quarterly reviews are designed to weed out people who aren't willing to do the Silicon Valley 996 (9am-9pm 6 days per week). - No work/life balance encouraged. CEO regularly messages about expectation of working nights and weekends in emails and all hands meetings. - People are disposable. Multiple colleagues fired during my short 1.5 year tenure. No PIPs or warnings are offered, people aren't given a chance to improve prior to being let go unexpectedly. It only takes one performance review that's not the top level to be fired. - Intense pressure for things that shouldn't be so stressful. Lives are not on the line! - Leadership's pressure trickles down to teams creating unsafe culture of fear. - No company values beyond making as much money as possible. - Drink the kool-aid culture; if you don't drink it, you won't last. - Terminated while struggling with protected disability that was disclosed to boss; offered no accommodations or support to manage challenges. - Backstabbing culture; boss treated me like a friend then used everything I shared in confidence to weaponize it against me. - Rude colleagues; was continuously ignored when trying to extend an olive branch from marketing to product. Even a warm intro from a product teammate was ignored.

Pros

Product is fantastic and at times can sell itself. The company hires well and you get to work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the industry where the learning opportunities are endless. Workforce is centered around younger reps that are motivated, want to make money and get promoted, and also want to enjoy themselves. Makes for a healthy, competitive work environment. Earning opportunities are solid, with some SDRs clearing $110k, but a lot of that depends on what team/territory you are assigned. Benefits, PTO, catered lunch, all good and nothing to complain about. If you can find a way to get promoted here then you are setting yourself up for a great career in the industry.

Cons

Despite how much the company has grown in such a fast timeline, leadership unfortunately still hasn't figured out how to navigate moving from a startup to large corporation. Constant ramping up and then cutting staff. Environment is very fast-paced and not for those who don't handle stress well. They preach promotion opportunities but there is realistically a 10% chance of internal promotion from SDR>AE, and they are not transparent about this as they don't want to scare any SDRs away. A lot of your success depends on what team/patch you are placed in: customer territory = less stress, automatic quota attainment, higher pay, and leadership recognition; new business territory = longer hours, harder work, realistically less pay and little to no recognition. Leadership acts like it is a level playing field when it is clearly skewed. Office politics can be a problem, and sometimes success comes down to who you know. Networking is crucial and can feel like a superficial game having to brown-nose. Quotas are senseless, being based around meeting quantity over quality. Doesn't matter if your meetings are progressing to opportunities/deals, if you don't book 30 pointless meetings with lower level personas then you won't hit quota. How does this help the business? Who the hell knows. Management is also very young, with many of them being under 30 y/o, achieving that title because they were good reps previously but lack management skills. Managers more or less just look at reports and actually provide little to no hands-on coaching for their reps.
