Pros

Good benefits, they pay well

Cons

Sales turnover is extremely high. You have to come at the right moment otherwise you will be fired if result are not there. They are expecting you to hit the target straight away. You won’t see many AEs (Enterprise) in EMEA that are in the company more than a year… sad but true.

Hi - thank you for your feedback - so sorry you feel this way, but really appreciate the perspective. Our EMEA team and revenue have been growing steadily over the past year(s) and we look forward to continuing to do the same, especially as we bring in more experienced leadership in the coming year!

Pros

There's a good SDR program to help people break into tech sales and the cybersecurity space. A good product with a good reputation which aids selling Good benefit package, flexible working and young and fun colleagues.

Cons

Next to the pay being below market rate, the culture at Snyk is turning toxic, especially after the layoffs. Overworking is being normalised by adding the work of the laid-off colleagues onto the remaining team. Especially in the Sales department, overworking and poor work boundaries are glorified. Those doing it are rewarded with favouritism. Typical examples: People sending you Slack messages after work hours and still contacting you on your days off. Or expecting you to work during your PTO. A lot of office politics because many of the SDRs want to be promoted to AE’s. This results in performative behaviour to be seen and rewarded by senior management. Oh and A LOT of gossiping; I don't trust most of my colleagues, even managers, to engage in this behaviour.
