Pros

Dedicated teams and talented people

Cons

- Lack of long term vision, too many changes too often of Strategy/Organization/Execs - Employee development and career progression does not seem to be a priority - Old school leadership

Pros

Great product that serves developers like me. Work life balance. Very decent pay and benefits. Working with team members all over the world. Team leads who care and look out for you (I've already been with 4 and they've all been like that in different ways). Incredibly competent engineers, complex challenges.

Cons

While overall they've been remote-first for a long time, the company has been opening several new offices and have been giving the vibe that further down the line they intend to push remote work out. Slack takes getting used to. Too many reorgs and change of managers in a short time. A loss of team, group, division and executive managers seems like a vote of no-confidence in the vision (or possible lack thereof) by many competent managers. It also makes it more difficult to grow.

Pros

- Great people - Great challenges and opportunities to learn - Always have someone to learn from - Very strong management in the start of the company, very personal as well - Best direct managers I had were at Snyk (they don't work there anymore though mostly :) )

Cons

- With the nature of things, the personal management (high level management at least) has slowly disappeared - Hypergrowth led to some changes that I personally wasn't always a fan of - With the growth and change of management there were empty promises and things to keep you wanting to stay and work for things you want but in fact not see progress with the things that were promised to you - Most of the good people I knew over the years and REALLY cared about the product and wanted it to succeed had been either let go in redundancy rounds or just left.
