Benefits/health care insurance are good.

Cons

Micromanagement/ unreachable metrics/ biased/ no work life balance in the office. Low base salary. It’s all about who you know to get promoted if this company. Especially with the mortgage department. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing.

I love my job at SoFi, Pay is competitive, excellent benefits package, 12 weeks Maternity and paternity leave, top 10% health insurance, SoFi recruits good talent too, so its very rare to come across a... Shall we say "less than qualified" co worker.

Cons

Too much virtue signalling, super liberal company and it doesn't hide it, recently they had an event "Estate planning for LGBTQ folks" like what? everyone needs estate planning assistance. After 4-5 years you'll stop accruing more PTO, and the typical year-over-year raises don't keep up with people coming in fresh, which is disheartening. I generally fall in the top margin of raises YOY for 4 years straight and I still was earning barely a dollar more than the people they had me training. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me, how are you going to chase talent so hard, and do the bare minimum to retain it?
