Pros

A former CEO of mine use to say 'culture eats strategy for lunch.' and here, we get to have both. Out leadership team is so passionate about what we've built, but so focused on all the things we can do to help our members get their money right. They push hard and the expectations are high but everything is done with intention and care for the people doing the work. I am empowered run after issues that I'm passionate about, and there is always support to help solve big problems. The collective drive to create the best member and employee experiences possible is the number one reason why I love working at SoFi!

Cons

The expectations and speed at which we operate can be dizzying, but I always know I have support and can ask for a break or help or anything I need and it will be met with understanding and care.

Pros

The people and the culture are warm, welcoming, and inclusive There are plenty of opportunities for growth There is no superiority complex. Leadership and employees have a balanced relationship and it is not difficult to get in touch with leadership The benefits are great and ever-increasing The company conducts an internal company-wide survey that gathers our opinions on many aspects of the company so that they can gain insight on how to improve it and cater to our wants They always feed us!

Cons

I honestly cannot think of too many cons, but it is important to keep up with your metrics and performance to avoid disciplinary action. Some of which can stunt your growth for a while. You must also be very adaptable as there are times the company makes quick and frequent changes that we must quickly adapt to. Also, the starting pay for a bank is not entirely attractive, but again, there are plenty of opportunities to increase that.

Pros

The recruitment process was very communicative and transparent which I loved. The pay is really good as well and lots of flexibility with remote working. Company environment and office is awesome and the company really shows that they care about their employees.

Cons

Office space can be a little tight and crowded some days. Also wish there were opportunities for travel and accessibility to go into other SoFi offices across the US.
