Pros

The people who have remained through the tumultuous times. Health benefits. Contributions to my student loan debt. I am very hopefull with the new ceo. He seems like a real go getter no BS type of attitude. Upper management beware this guys is all about the customer experience, metrics be dammned. But too soon to give him an actual rating he just started. Bring on the change Noto!!!

Cons

Lateral moves only. Been working here for over two years and have received one raise for less than a dollar while the company has recorded record profits. Limited by my location in HB even though we are the office that helped build SLC and DE and continue to help bring them up to speed. I may have hitched my wagon to the wrong horse.

Pros

Amazing Benefits & Great line level employees

Cons

You're told upper management will be transparent ... that's a lie. Here's an example: When we were 1st told about an office opening in Salt Lake City, everyone immediately asked if it was going to replace the Healdsburg teams and after a year and a half that's exactly what happened. 50+ employees were laid off in Healdsburg. 85% OF EMPLOYEES UNDER MANAGEMENT MAKE MORE THAN THE MANGEMENT STAFF. The metrics laid out for the teams is not equal across the board. "Simple Reviewers" have no issues hitting basic goals with minimal work, yet "Complex Reviewers" who underwrite nothing but self-employed borrowers and do twice the work are left with unobtainable metrics and no bonuses. You're told bonuses are in reach and likely, but in reality, you're luck to receive what's being offered.

Pros

I've been here a little over a year and look forward to being here for the next 10. I actually love what I do, who I work with and the office itself. SoFi is an amazing opportunity to be a part of several industries and to solve problems in innovative ways.

Cons

Honestly, none. I work really hard and am in the office long hours, but I love it.
