Pros

-Benefits -Lunch Card -Good learning experience. Helped me understand what I want in a career.

Cons

-Poor Work/Life balance for Non-Exempt employees (4 observed holidays off per year) -Allows low quality employees to beat the system and continue to receive favorable scheduling causing hardworking, loyal employees to receive an unfavorable schedule. This will and has driven good employees to leave the company. -Direct supervision can very rude and unwilling to help. You should be able to be to ask your supervisor questions, not be scared and publicly chastised when doing so. -Terrible, terrible interdepartmental communication from the top to the bottom. New products and major changes are rolled out with little, or in most cases, no notice. Customers should not be aware of what’s going on before your own employees.

Pros

SoFi is a great place to work because they approach everything from the Member perspective. I have never been in a meeting where the member is not front and center. Anthony Noto is an enthusiastic leader who deeply believes in the company. Hard not to catch his enthusiasm!

Cons

The SF job market lends itself to people job hoping and people don’t stay in their roles long. It would be good to move roles out of SF to increase tenure.

Pros

Benefits here are pretty good. That's how they get you in. They cover all your premiums. This is the only benefit to working there.

Cons

Work life balance SUCKS! It's like being back in high school as well. If you aren't a popular person you won't bonus (even if your stats are amazing). Mid level and senior management are only worried about numbers and not actually taking care of their employees. Also this company is not actually an Equal Opportunity Employer. They will hire you if you are different so they can say that, but management does nothing to want to understand how you function so they can help you be a successful employee. WORST COMPANY EVER!
