Thank you for your candid review, and for the time you dedicated to working at SoFi. We value each and every one of our employees and their contributions to the company and our mission. Your comments are not indicative of the type of culture nor workplace we are committed to fostering. We know that having a great culture starts with excellent managers, which is why we continue to invest heavily in manager development programs - we have a few exciting new programs to roll out later this year. Thank you again for the review, and best of luck in your next career endeavor. Take care.

Pros

The free snacks and drinks that they provide.

Cons

They do not pay based on experience. The person sitting next to you who has 6 months experience will make the same as the person with 5 years experience. They manage to find a way to micromanage you without having managers do it, which is crazy to think about. Extreme favoritism, if you're not a yes man you won't get anywhere. I was given an ultimatum between staying with SoFi and or quitting my other job because they force everyone to be in the office now on Wednesdays. When they first announced RTO I had my schedule switched to not be in the office on Wednesday because of my other job, and then they switched it and are forcing me into the office and or telling me I have to quit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience - we're disappointed to hear working at SoFi isn't meeting your expectations. Our MSRs are such an invaluable team helping us achieve our mission, so thank you for your dedication to helping millions of people achieve financial independence. Compared to other companies, we feel our return to office policy is quite flexible and less structured; for example, we do not ask leaders or managers to track attendance. We provide flexibility for each employee's individual needs to the best of our ability and have not forced or asked anyone to quit. Our policies are focused on ensuring that our employees' commitments to their work at SoFi are met. Good luck and take care.
