Pros
People are great to work with. A laid-back environment with perks such as video games and ping pong.
Cons
Codebase is old and gnarly; you'll maintain spaghetti code. The performance review and raise process is something right out of a Dilbert cartoon. They usually have a pay freeze, but if they don't, raises are strictly 2-3% increases. Backwards security practices make the job harder. You won't have the tools you need. For example, Internet access is severely restricted and basically unusable.
