Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying your teammates and the opportunity to work with our amazing kids — that's at the heart of what we do. We want to clarify that all full-time RBTs at Soar are guaranteed 30 hours per week after their initial ramp-up period. That ramp-up period is designed to help new team members get acclimated to their center, build relationships, and get comfortable in the role. If you’re still consistently seeing fewer than 30 hours after your ramp-up period, we encourage you to connect with your center leadership. We’re always open to feedback and want all of our team members to feel supported and empowered to share their experiences. Thanks again for being a part of the Soar team!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for being part of the Soar team! We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve found value in your experience—especially our commitment to supporting kids, providing regular raises, and fostering a supportive staff culture. These are core parts of what we aim to deliver every day. We also appreciate your feedback around pay and non-billable time. We're always looking for ways to improve and provide competitive compensation while balancing the sustainability of our care model. Your comments are helpful as we continue to evaluate how we support our RBTs—especially when it comes to things like client no-shows and the broader pay landscape. Thank you again for everything you do to support the children and families at Soar. We’re grateful to have you on the team!

Pros

- working with kids - overall friendly staff that is willing to support you - forgiving environment & flexible expectations, as in, any personality can work here, and if you make mistakes, you have the space to correct it and can ask for help (as long as you were looking out for the kids safety, that is) - decent pay with advancement opportunities - decent hours. They will respect your availability and may have opportunities for you to work more if you're short on hours

Cons

- when it gets busy, staff may be unable to support you (they're still willing though!) - pay should be higher and there needs to be more paid breaks, due to the stressful nature of the job and the job expectations - employee assessments can be tough - might get a bit too loud/chaotic for neurodivergent employees (staff will be understanding, and you can always ask for help or a break)

We're glad to hear that you found the environment supportive and flexible, and that working with the kids was a rewarding experience. It's also great to know our team's willingness to help and the opportunities for advancement stood out to you. We appreciate your feedback around the areas for growth as well. We recognize how important it is to provide adequate support during busy times, and we're actively looking at ways to better manage staffing and resources to improve that experience. We hear your points about compensation, break structure, and the assessment process and appreciate the feedback on areas where we can continue to grow. Thank you for all your hard work and flexibility, especially given the unique demands of this role. Lastly, we take concerns about communication very seriously. Professional and respectful interactions are central to our values, please feel free to reach out to your local leadership if you feel like there is something that doesn’t align.
