Pros

The founders (Jen & Ian) really care about putting clinical quality first and doing what they can to improve the ABA and autism care industry as a whole. They haven't figured everything out yet, but I feel really positive that they are trying to do what's best for clients and staff and are always receptive to feedback and moving in the right direction. I love being a part of Soar and I am so excited to see what they are able to do for autism care! Also, they invest a lot in their employees and create a lot of innovative lanes for advancement within the company. It's not just a straight BCBA to PC path, but there are lots of other ways to get involved in projects you're interested in and develop your career. I also love getting to work directly with speech and OT, and getting career development opportunities like ESDM certification training and live SBT training from Greg Hanley. (And yes, Hanley is every bit as amazing in person as you would expect him to be!!)

Cons

It's still a growing company, so sometimes it feels like there is a lot of change happening at once, and you have to be ready to learn and grow with the company. It's really important to be flexible and able to stay positive, and I think if you can do that, you'll really love it here!

Pros

Soar has been the most impactful autism care provider that I have worked for in my career. Soar really cares about its clients and employees and that is shown to me through their extensive trainings, constant asking for feedback through surveys, the application of feedback that is given to them and the way they approach challenges in the work place once they arise. Soar has been a pivotal resource for me to learn more how to appropriately care for children on the autism spectrum and even gain skills in other areas such as business administration. Soar also has amazing programs for its employees to explore career paths through clinical, psychological, or administrative fields! If I had to recommend one provider to families or one company for employees for autism care, it would be Soar.

Cons

Soar is a new, growing company. It takes time for any new company to figure out the best systems and processes that work for them and their employees.

Pros

Every time I step foot into Soar I can always count on the support and kindness from my peers. Anytime anyone runs into an issue I always know my peers at soar have my back and will do everything they can to accommodate me. I can always trust that my peers are giving their all to accommodate the clients at soar and help them learn in the most efficient and creative ways.

Cons

We could always use more clear and concise communication.
