Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the work meaningful, appreciated the training, and built supportive relationships with coworkers and the children you served. We’re also grateful that you believe in CHOP-Soar’s mission and see potential in the Newtown center. We’re sorry to hear that your experience was affected by scheduling changes, staffing challenges, and concerns around management systems and trust. Opening and growing a new center comes with real operational complexity, but that does not lessen the importance of listening to team members, improving communication, and building systems that help staff feel supported in their work. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback and your belief in the center’s continued improvement. We will continue working to strengthen our processes, support our teams, and create a more consistent experience for staff, clients, and families.

Pros

Work/life balance has been great Endless growth opportunities, both skills-wise and career ladder This is NOT traditional, abusive ABA. Assent-based, child-centered care instead of the mind set that kids will follow through OR ELSE.

Cons

Caseload larger than originally told in interview, but it has been manageable due to my commitment to my work life balance.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re so glad to hear that Soar has felt like an excellent place to work and that you’ve experienced strong work-life balance, meaningful growth opportunities, and a care model that aligns with your values as a BCBA. We especially appreciate you highlighting Soar’s commitment to assent-based, child-centered care. Creating a supportive environment where children are respected, engaged, and able to grow in a way that honors their needs is central to our mission. We also appreciate your honest feedback about caseload expectations. We know that clear communication during the interview process and sustainable caseload management are important for supporting our clinicians. Thank you for the work you do and for being part of the Soar team.
