Good hard skills, poor soft skills

Pros

- Funds for professional development opportunities - Diverse staff - If you compete well enough, you'll be able to get involved in some business development or technical (less administrative/operational) activities

Cons

- extreme pay gap between directors and the associates/managers who do most of the work . The pay is generally lower than other MEL organizations - No time for professional development opportunities despite the funding - Overworked, burnt out staff - Senior team that gaslights overworked staff and asserts there's no need for change or hiring - Boasts about the diversity of their staff, but does nothing to protect socially-disadvantaged staff from abuse at the workplace - Does not provide reasonable accommodations for staff with health disabilities
