      Pros

      Good pay. Stable hours. Occasional overtime. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Horrible supervisors and managers. Even the supervisors get harassed into quitting. Constant harassment. Managers and supervisors don't follow Federal regs about employee treatment. No advancement except for a select few

      Pros

      Benefits and retirement plan are good.

      Cons

      Management micromanage. They don't listen to the employees. They manage cases the same way they have since the 90s, and they blame employees for the backlog. There are ways to get the backlog down, but the agency doesn't have the capacity to manage or embrace change. Real change. Not recycled old ways of doing things. They really need someone who specializes in change management. DEIA is not a value in OHO. There is a reason SSA reason SSA ranks 16th out of 17 federal agencies in employee satisfaction.

      The Agency’s mission is vital and the majority of staff, especially field staff, take it to heart.

      Cons

      Sr mgt seems to have forgotten who they work for and why. Little integrity, lots of yes men, and concerned only about their bonuses.
