Pros

It is a job, PTO, FERS/TSP (things that apply to most other agencies)

Cons

Ancient software, vague policies, comically bad training, misguided emphasis on percentages and output numbers (when performance measurement goes wrong)

Pros

Federal benefits are great but private sector is more competitive with pay.

Cons

Pay is way below market value. Overworked and underpaid. A lot of burnout. Management is not trained and lacks leadership skills or development. Turnover is increasing due to burnout and toxic work environments.

Pros

The benefits are great, the hours are good

Cons

The unrealistic expectations of the job make everyone leave. Managment cares more about numbers than people.
