Pros

Good working environment; liberal leave time; legal protections; training; collaborative environment; skilled work staff; dedicated colleagues.

Cons

Physically and mentally taxing sedentary work that involves repetitive computer input and/or speech recognition software; high standards of productivity; work product time consuming as emphasis is on legal sufficiency to support the outcome of the judge's decision on SSI disability claim instead of offering the claimant an understanding of why they can or cannot work in their previous jobs or other jobs in national economy. As such, the claimant may see the process as demeaning or not caring of their predicament. Listing 3 potential jobs a person may perform under their residual functional capacity (RFC) assessment offers little help to the claimant and serves instead to decrease acceptance of process as fair and considerate.

Pros

Flex hours after training

Cons

16 week long training. Sitting and reading manuals, instructions and directives. Brain dead and lose interest within the first month. Has very little room for advancement. Micromanage to core. It feel more than an institution than your job. They monitor your every step and everything you do. Have to be on the phone nonstop, unappreciated job.
