Pros

Amazing upper management, great CSR team, plenty of resources, opportunity to help others, we have union representation, automatic raises, great Healthcare coverage, opportunity to advance

Cons

Training could have been structured better, direct supervisor is the nicest, most negative person I've ever had the pleasure of working with, no longer have union rep in office, Healthcare coverage is expensive, despite automatic raise with the increase in health care premiums the salary received had actually decreased.

Pros

Opportunity to serve the American public. Flexible work schedule and good salary after journeyman status is achieved. After many years you become a material expert at Title 2 or Title 16 and you will be a valued contributor who is not easily replaced.

Cons

With telework unity amongst peers is difficult to come by. If you are not able to multitask and compartmentalize workloads and priorities this would not be a suitable career field for you. The complexity of much of the work can be daunting. Your manager does not have time to micromanage your work, so you must be self driven to complete work timely and correctly.
