      Pros

      Softchoice has a unique culture. 1. You can bring your dog to work. 2. You receive 2 paid volunteer days per year 3. There's beer cart once a month. 4. You can wear jeans to work

      Cons

      1. Softchoice hires a lot of new grads. It's a great place to start. However, salaries tend to be a bit low. 2. Softchoice has grown considerably over the last few years, but still functions like a small company. A lot of the processes need to be improved to increase efficiency. 3. Some departments are stretched pretty thin. Employees put in long hours including evenings and weekends. Finance and Licensing come to mind.

      Good starting position if you are interested in sales

      Pros

      You will work with some amazing people. Work hard, Play hard mentality. I would recommend this job if you are just graduating university and looking for employment.

      Cons

      The compensation isn't great for the amount of work required. The management team is not qualified to lead as majority of the managers have any leadership experience. The vendor experts are unqualified sales reps that are completely useless in the sales cycle process.
