      Big things right, little things wrong

      Pros

      Progressive Canadian company that treats its people amazingly well. My values map to the companies values which is nice - these are the big things. I’ve found pay to be good but I negotiated quite firmly up front. Others have not had the same experience.

      Cons

      The “little things” are what shows up every day: endless escalations, internal whack-a-mole, barely adequate systems (which were MUCH worse 2 years ago). We often seem to struggle with getting out of our own way. Recently the small team I’m a part of has taken a turn towards toxic. Different groups chasing their own agendas and not working together. Toxic people getting promoted. It’s not looking good for long term prospects.

      Awesome company, culture, and mission

      Great mission and plan to get there Good exec management team Fantastic strategy Growing services company

      Cons

      Bonus plan for non-sales is half-based on the whim of magical EBITDA targets that have nothing to do with your performance. You could be the absolute best and get nothing. Pay raises are non-existent. This is the only publicly traded company I've ever worked for that does not have an Employee Stock Purchase Program.
