Owned by Capgemini. Otherwise nothing

Cons

Horrible management. Zero leadership. No thought leadership. No unique value proposition. It's like going back in time 20 years. Boring and not sustainable. If you're not billable immediately, say 'bye bye'. You can do better, can't you!?

Pros

Good 401k match, but takes 3 years to be vested. Good work life balance.

Cons

Toxic political environment. Favoritism in bonuses, salary increases and promotions. Can't even guarantee a cost of living increase year to year. You may end up getting no raise at all. Poor hiring resulted in some consultants with little skill in the roles they were assigned. General culture of dishonesty.

No Future - Managers and Sr Managers - Too Easy to Advance out of Sogeti

Pros

Good start for new grads. High probability that everyone will get hands on exposure to Agile project work. Also, some very knowledgeable people work at Sogeti that 'try' to organize/share through knowledge transfer.

Cons

Not so great benefits, almost unattainable "bonus" package, no profit sharing, and really poor holiday and PTO offered to the consulting force. There's no such thing as Sogeti comp time, although you are often "asked" to put in an excessive amount of hours for "fixed bid" projects that are expected to fail, but frequently used as an attempt to get exposure to the client in hope of finding future work. Basically, everyone is in sales at Sogeti and everyone is rated on how much you "sell" for the company, rather than your job performance and client satisfaction. Boys club, very few women in upper level positions in the US.
