      Field Energy Consultant - Great Culture - No Balance

      Pros

      Great Regional Sales Managers, good culture, car, gas card, computer, benefits

      Cons

      Expected to work almost every day, customers prefer weekend appointments, many jobs cancel so you spend hours working on something you never get paid for. $30k salary plus commission should net you a minimum of $40-50k. They claim much more in interviews but thats for the top 5%. Middle management doesnt get it, seems like a frat house. Employees are expendable, always someone there to fill the role. No benefit to being around a while and really knowing your stuff.

      - good cause - helping the world go green - inspirational leaders - Pete and Lyndon - easy approachable top management

      Cons

      Crappy regional management, that doesnt care about the employees. They enforce new policies and its "you take or leave". Always ask you to go the extra mile but never make a compromise for you.

      Gives you flexibility to work around your schedule at times and income "potential" is good.

      Cons

      If you're not a business owner then you'll need a little more help than others to generate leads. Can't rely on training because it's very general so every manager does something different.
