Pros

Great company mission and the CEO's are driven for their cause. The sales position I was in is wonderful. The product is a great sell. There are "warm" leads that, if you're good, you can turn into several more "premium leads" (your own).

Cons

The training I received was very quick and way to condensed and fast. They seemingly wanted to get me in the field very quick. Sales reps have to report to customers homes, even if they don't qualify for solar. I was fired trying to help a non-qualified customer (basically waiting my time, but the customer was very interested in solar for the future). In trying to get her approved, I broke a company "policy" that I didn't even realize was a company policy! If someone in training told me "If you do this....you'll be fired" I would have never done it, and I would have been one of their top sales people.

Pros

You're literally saving the world. At the end of the day, you've done good, which feels good. There are a lot of smart, fun people in the ranks. The leaders are tremendously enthusiastic. Many of the middle mgmt roles were filled by internal promotions.

Cons

The company leverages it's "feel good" capital instead of financial capital. Changes happen quickly and are often done without much explanation. I've seen a lot of high-performers be let go when they were put into near-impossible situations, and failed. It fosters a sense of avoiding any risks, which limits innovation. The food wasn't very good in the cafeteria, which is petty, but relevant in the Valley. High turnover. Very few executive roles are filled from internal promotions.

Pros

Great company to work for and it is growing substantially every year.

Cons

Zero complaints. They take care of their own employees. Open communication with upper management goes a long way.
