Pros

Sad but true - salary

Cons

Turning into a career killer. Thought they would have come out of the hack scandal from couple yrs back but they seem to be too preoccupied with keeping toxic leadership empowered who all but do is chopping and changing direction and staff every 2 weeks. It's a big mess, HR... oh wait I mean "Talent Success" are either the best actors in the world Or they are 100% complicit with the C-Suite behaviors, level of clear favoritism among the organisation is a disgrace.

Pros

We have broken the record for being the worst tech company in 2023 on Glassdoor, with a rating below 3. Well done, Sudhakar!

Cons

The company's Glassdoor rating has plummeted from 3.9 to 2.9 in less than 10 months. Everyone knows that there is a serious management crisis at SolarWinds globally, and that immediate action is needed.

Pros

The pay was market average. Decent work-life balance.

Cons

The reality is that politics rules the roost here. You spend more time trying to suck up to people rather than do the actual work. Then, when it is time to do the actual work, you have to navigate a whole lot of red tape and personalities that are only interested in playing politics and not trying to get the task completed. Add to that the hopeless lack of knowledge of the realities on the ground in anywhere outside of the US, you get senior leadership in Austin who have no idea on how to maintain the international business. We're not even going into the layoffs that were made after the CEO had promised the contrary, or the constant reorgs and changes in strategy. I think the best indicator of how the company is being run is that while the stock price soared after the latest earnings call, after 2 months the stock price has tanked way below the original price before the call. In summary, poorly run and lacks care for their employees.
