Pros

SolarWinds has been a great place to work. From a sales perspective, the funnel is always full, providing reps with opportunities to succeed and, more often than not, earn a solid monthly compensation. High-growth enterprises aren’t always easy to navigate, but they can be lucrative if you’re a dependable team member. SolarWinds is a successful company with a strong track record spanning over 20 years.

Cons

Many different teams reach out to overlapping customers. GTM is improving but still has room for growth.

Pros

- Visibility and Alignment: In-depth analysis of SolarWinds strategies and business plans between All Hands and Ask Me Anything sessions that are hosted globally and functionally each quarter to ensure all departments and employees are aligned on our corporate goals - Access to Leadership: Leaders are very approachable and easy to talk to. The executive leadership teams operates with an open-door policy to encourage employees to come to them with concerns, questions, and suggestions - Comprehensive and wholistic total rewards offerings: Solid compensation plan, medical, dental, vision, and mental health benefits - Awesome perks: education tuition reimbursement, flexible time off (basically unlimited), sabbatical leave for employees with 5 years of service, 401K matching, donation matching - Great Co-Workers: The People at SolarWinds are friendly and helpful, making work a lot easier - People-First Culture: The workspace is very accommodating and stocked with snacks and beverages daily, with lunch catered each week. Employees can also take advantage of the daily restaurant lunch drops - Flexible Work: Employees are expected to be in office three days a week but the policy is not strict and managers practice implicit trust to support flexible and hybrid work

Cons

- There is a lot of change going on at SolarWinds and most are still adapting to all the change management, the same thing most tech companies are facing - It can feel like teams are siloed and occasionally there is confusion on project or job responsibilities between colleagues
