Pros

Pay was okay, HR tried, tough to find any of late.

Cons

Favoritism of the highest level between the senior leadership team and their gang. Sudden firings without any explanation of teams has happened multiple times this year. No happiness amongst the teams as a result of bad leadership behavious, fear and anger at the decline of a place we used to call our workplace.

Pros

Some hard working people in the lower ranks.

Cons

People have been cut, yes the industry does this from time to time but some of the ones they've made here don't add up, no preparation, no hand off, whats the go forward plan? As a result collaboration just doesn't happen anymore, what makes it all the more sad is that some of the cuts the leadership have done appear to have been personally motivated over individuals they think don't conform to their only way of thinking. As much as the HR and leaders profess we are people first company it's the polar opposite. CEO has encircled himself with a c-suite that is self motivated by their own success and blame their failings down stream is a constant fear by employees below.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review and feedback. We understand that optimizations and departures can be difficult to navigate, but with our core value of readiness, we expect to be resilient and even more collaborative. While at times SolarWinds has had to make difficult decisions, we are a fair and equal opportunity employer and mitigate bias in these situations. We encourage you to continue to provide input on an ongoing basis to your People Partners to ensure your concerns are addressed.

A Devastating Downfall

Pros

The enchanting days of being the wizards behind top-notch monitoring software are over. Once, we had the magic touch, but that vanished when the CEO and his accomplice, the Chief Product Officer, parachuted in from Pulse Secure.

Cons

Let's talk about the grim reality. Expanding offices for talent is wise, but what's happening here is a ruthless betrayal. Our department is under direct attack, with every member targeted for immediate replacement – all to pave the way for a fresh crew from India. It's evident where our future lies, and it's nothing short of bleak. The CEO's cunning plan? Wipe out our top-tier European offices that have consistently proven their excellence and profitability. In their place, he's cheering for the rise of new offices in India and smaller regions. But the CEO's calculus is flawed; these offices, history shows, are far from matchless in their skills and revenue generation. Worse yet, the newly appointed leaders display no interest in the old guard, leaving us to deduce their intentions – promoting pals and putting India on a pedestal.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review and feedback. SolarWinds is recognized as a leader in monitoring and network management, and we thank you for your commitment and hard work in helping us achieve this. In the last year, we have cut back on global hiring and shifted our focus to retaining talent by launching new employee programs to recognize and reward employees for their contributions. It is not our intention to replace any employees with less skilled candidates in other regions. We understand your concerns about leadership and will take your feedback into consideration to improve our organization. We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace, where all employees feel valued and heard. We encourage you to continue this dialogue with your local People Partner or in an upcoming Ask me Anything session.
