Artificially or otherwise, SolarWinds' management is committed to continued success through growth. Benefits, tangible and otherwise, are pretty standard for the industry. It's a growing software company in Austin, TX; that's a pretty good starting point. The rank-and-file are great people.

Cons

Make no mistake: it's a business. Growth is the goal of the almighty Model. The beast must be fed, and personnel, and as long as they facilitate the feeding of the beast, are themselves fed (see the industry staple: free food twice a week). Beyond the frantic talk after quarterly pep rallies, management has minimal apparent interest in personnel development.
