      Pros

      The company is breaking away from the Ashland corporate mentality, but there is a lot of work to do in order to establish a positive culture. There is a lot of opportunity to grow the business.

      Cons

      Solenis as a whole needs to develop their technology base if they want to compete with the big boys. Due to turnover and retirements over the past 10 years, a lot of expertise has been lost and not passed on or replaced.

      Pros

      Variety of projects keeps workflow up and interesting. Great people to work with. Global Pulp and Paper Leader

      Cons

      Pulp and Paper as well as Industrial Water tend to be very commodity, less specialty chemical. That leads to lower margins, and while still competitive salary, on the lower end of range.
