Pros

The ONLY pro at Solera are many of the people at the ground level and maybe one level up management.

Cons

Where to begin- You are a number, nothing more. They truly could not care less about you. Pay for new hires is likely inline, but don't ever expect to see a comp bump after you come on board. Merit has been delayed by 2 months already but they are "reviewing it" at the top level. Comp plans? Well, expect to be at least one full quarter in before you get "something" and when you get it, the goals will be unachievable. Count on making your base salary and maybe 50% of your variable- seems like they design it that way Seems like they just want to IPO this dog, and are doing everything possible to make it look attractive. Expect to be micromanaged on EVERYTHING- calls, emails, etc. I am surprised they haven't implemented tech that makes sure you are sitting at your desk. Don't believe any review from a recruiter, and be mindful of reviews from folks employed less than one year.

Pros

Free food daily The campus is managed by Glen Star and they have great perks for being an employee there. SOME managers are kind and supportive. Team members bonded and mean well when working on behalf of candidates

Cons

If you are reading this, it matters to you. Take Heed. Leadership does not care about employees. Instead of doing what is right, management would rather lose employees. No Commission structure. Never paid on time for the quarter and penalized people for leaving for better opportunities by withholding commission, even when the commission payout is late. Lies about OTE. Even more impossible to meet with the commission structure. No work life balance. Salaried employees treated like hourly employees. Office tattlers that tell if you leave 30 min to 1 hour early. Even though you work through your lunch. (That is why lunch is free, so you do not take a true lunch). And continue to work at home and on the weekends. Offered hybrid work schedule but was not allowed to work that schedule for 10 weeks. (Not performance based) Processes are all over the place and No Learning and development. They put the responsibility on the current recruiters to train new people. No growth plan. They talk about growth but they pick and choose who they want to promote. As a matter of fact one of the recruiters would like to be a manager but they have absolutely ZERO plans to advance them.

Pros

Free Snack, food and drinks , unlimited vacation , some good leaders and managers and working on a cool industry - cars

Cons

Solera talks about how great it is and innovative- but many people who are management don’t know how to do this. Few people do but they leave the company or work on too many different things or they do not have enough time to help us
