Pros
There are some front line level folks really trying to take care of customers
Cons
Solera is where good businesses go to die. I watched several once good companies get acquired/folded in to this mess and they sucked any goodness out of them. Most anyone with any talent figures this out quickly and leaves. A few that are dedicated and buy into the hype take a little longer to figure it out, but they too leave eventually too. Comp plans are always late, changing mid year, and good luck trying to audit your payout. Managers have to do all of the work in the hiring process (and you'll be doing a lot of hiring as turnover is very high). HR doesn't even do background checks- the front line managers do. Most of Sr. Leadership is clueless about the individual businesses and customers realize this quickly. Tracking software is used on all users computers - they'll berate employees who don't travel enough, but at the same time berate them if they are not online enough- people can't do both and have any life. Have you every watched "Office Space"? Solera is basically the "Bob's" running a company, just add a lot more "Bob's".
