Pros

The staff you work with are what make the company, the learning opportunities and the personal development.

Cons

C-Level employees and above who have no idea what they have, who they have or where the success comes from and the lack basic interpersonal and general communication skills.. They have no idea of what happens beyond customer service and show no appreciation to the staff who keep them in a job and will toss them without a care in the world.

Pros

Good Benefits, Market paid (if you are lucky) Good brands under their umbrella (for now) Good tech to work with Free Snacks

Cons

So very many, not sure where to start... They have no desire to retain talent, they only respond to "I quit" and then with promises they can't back When people do quit this is seen as a way to lower expenses...other employees have to take up the slack They have no clue how the companies under their umbrella actually work but act as if they do (throwing away revenue potential in the name of consolidation) Management treats females and males differently in terms of pay, respect given, etc Nepotism is rampant and you can't ever critique their performance honestly HR is NOT there for the employee (never met the last HR contact either) Raises are rare/never and bonuses are only offered if you agree to work on special projects with crazy expectations Promotions are given to people who happen to be in the right place at the right time Trying to consolidate all Dev/Business to Utah, running off the other office teams Management is good at tooting their own horn while driving a bus over you Don't believe the promises they make unless you have it in writing, then still don't believe them
