Pros

Working at Solera was just great. They gave me the 20 and let me sort out the 80. With each of my 3x80's I was 30/30'ing more and more 20's out of my life and with that 90/10 attitude I was able to fully grasp RUC2C and Pareto my way through the 1, right past the 1-10, onward to the 1-30. Using Facts Finesse and Force I helped push the EBITDA beyond our wildest constant-state-of-dissatisfaction into a hungry, humble, hunting experience that bought the managing director a new sports car.

Cons

Toxic culture of forcing people into a constant state of failure. (works for short term gains, results in loss of talent in the long term). HR poorly mismanaged. Senior Management Team disconnected from actual needs and terribly led.

Pros

I received my paycheck on time. There were some decent people, but that is all I can think of for pros.

Cons

There are almost too many to list, but I will give it a try: Management by fear; management loves to humiliate employees; comp plans were delivered at least halfway through the fiscal year, so it was difficult for sales people to understand their goals; CEO is not a good person - ethically and morally challenged; no annual raises; too many people in executive management; CEO was misleading on earnings calls prior to them going private; had to go private as the company could no longer hide poor financial fundamentals behind their many acquisitions; North America has lost most of the Top 20 insurance customers; they only have 2 Top 20s left and they only kept one due to greatly discounted pricing; I could go on and on, but will end by saying the CEO's Digital Garage is a sham; it will never work as all the acquisitions they have made will not be integrated properly.

Pros

The company is growing fast and has a lot of opportunity in creating new solutions for the automotive space. A strong emphasis is given to replace or revamp older software products, and stay current in the market. The office location is very convenient for work. Company benefits are consistent with the market.

Cons

Most of the leaders do not have the skills required for the role they are in. Senior leaders employ one or more family members in roles, creating clear conflict of interests. The work-life balance is poor due to a incessant drive to have employees do more work.
