Pros

I think the company is transforming in a positive way. Upper management appears to have a vision, is relatable, and says the right things. Time will tell how successful it is. Mission-focused company with an easy mission to get behind. Good benefits and pay. Sunshine Fridays (half days on Fridays in summer)! People are very willing to collaborate if approached.

Cons

Going to be in transition for a while, I think particularly in R&D. Lots of work going into disentangling from 3M. Vision is trickling down slowly. 1 year post-spin, it is still difficult to know what to work on and what will be prioritized (prioritization is happening and will be communicated, but slow). In the midst of an innovation culture change from 3M innovation model to something more sustainable for a less diverse company. Company can feel a bit siloed at times and hard to know what is going on across the company.

Company without vision

Pros

Good office location. Hybrid, remote work.

Cons

Managers have no experience in people management. No chance to get promoted if you dont work overtime, public holidays and cover for others even if their role is totally different to yours. 121 and team meetings get cancelled or are not productive. No backup structure, all work will pile up and wait for you if you are on leave. No development path, no resources to learn new skills, no trainings. Employees are not feeling as recognized members of a team. This place can be good for Juniors without skills, but if you are experienced you will be put to the silos without chance to learn and develop
