The CEO and his leadership team have a great vision for the company.

Cons

Far too many of the management layers below that have adopted the 3M way of working. Things are very slow to make happen and processes are very bloated. People are not empowered to do their jobs but instead held back to focus on box ticking.

Cons

No job movement. Work life balance severely taken a hit. Even management is working when on vacation. To many changes, not enough Standarization. Feels like a new company even though they have 3M roots.

Pay and benefits are better than most places in the area. Overtime is generally available. Some people are competent, friendly, and fun to be around.

Cons

Numbers can seem more important than addressing issues that come up on the line. There is often a disconnect between change initiators and the workers on the production floor. Most departments have mandatory overtime, which could be a pro or a con.
