Pros

Excellent product--learned an incredible amount. Wednesday lunch and first Friday breakfast a nice bonus.

Cons

No career plan implemented until 2018--3 years there and had only a single 1 on1 with my manager. How am I doing was asked often >> same answer "if you're still employed you're doing alright" Training for new products completed while you are on the phone with existing customers--not a good way to learn new products. Sales and Support treated as different as prisoners and their guards are. Always nice to hear sales having fun when you are tied to the phone--great for morale!

Pros

There are some really intelligent and fantastic people that work at this company and I totally bought into the new direction and vision they want to take. The product training is really good, everything you need is available to you and this was the best training on PRODUCTS that I have had at any company.

Cons

Sales Processes-Nightmare. The people that have been there for over a year think that this is normal...it's not. Nothing is streamlined, you WILL NOT be shown how to do any of the day to day activities that will consume your time (unless you are lucky enough to have an Inside Sales Rep that has been there more than a few months or have one at all. Politics are an issue. It's cliquey like high-school for a company of this size and if the wrong person decides they don't like you your job will get harder. Find someone to help you with sales processes and if they say they don't know how...find someone else. People that have been there for much longer than you are confused by the organizational changes and who is responsible for what, etc. but you are expected to know all of this right away, while learning product, without sales support, etc, helping customers, prospecting for new business. It's completely unrealistic. Your customers will not like you. They do not want to meet with you. It is a battle that can be won....if you get the chance. They want it all done NOW and change of this magnitude and scale takes time you will not be given. They will fire you without warning.

Pros

Other support techs are great, knowledgeable, helpful, overall cool people. Company brings in food twice a week.

Cons

Upper management knows nothing about tech and makes stupid decisions. They micromanage middle management who micromanage the support techs. Substandard equipment and software, phone system is the cheapest they could get, crashes all the time, often in the middle of a call. No possibility of growth, once you're on the phones, that's where you'll stay. Work from home was revoked but doesn't apply to everyone. Owners are only interested in making it look like the company is hugely profitable so they can sell it.
