Pros

Online Training is ok.

Cons

Onboarding was atrocious. I know your owned by a venture capital company but come on now. No real good product presentations available from Marketing, or Product mgmt. Cant get answers or responses from anyone on where products are going. Health Benefits are not good at all.

Pros

I worked for the company prior to Dell and the Francisco Group. Back then the atmosphere was good and an exchange of ideas occurred daily. My co-workers were more like my family and management was ok. Akk in all it was an awesome environment to work at and management always worked with you if you had something personal to take care of.

Cons

Since the Dell purchase, things started to go downhill. HR was out of the office and Dell was changing to their sales/support model which didn't work well for the company. They should have kept the working model. Management was all over the place trying to deal with the merger and the lab never got updated even though Dell could have procured the hardware needed more easily. Since the Francisco Group purchased SONICWALL, in my opinion, the place has turned into a pit. They don't care about the techs when they should be listening to them. Don't get me wrong. The will listen to you but do nothing to help. The place has turned into a ridiculous call center. The techs are overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. They rather fire season techs with intimate knowledge of the firewalls and replace them with new people and expect them to be able to do the call volume that the senior engineers did. Often the new people that are hired are getting paid more than the techs that have been there since the beginning. The lab is such a joke that most people have home labs that they do their testing on. As far as growth....forget it you need to leave the place in order to move up. I could go on but I'll stop for now.
